Riding Mates

The past two years riding in Columbia, MO have been different than the first three years for me. In the first three years, I trained and rode with my my wife, Jessica, and our good friends Patrick and Missy. With the arrival of Isaac and Solomon (and Scarlet, Patrick and Missy's daughter), my chohort haven't had the time and training with other folks has become challenging. I've missed the ongoing camraderie.
Here's a photo from the start line on the first day of the St. Louis based Mavericks are a great group - 80 riders strong (although not everyone made the picture).

It was great riding with Terry Kaempfe last year, but since we hadn't trained together, it was like we were still finding a rhythm. Even with Isaac this year, great though it was, I wasn't riding with anyone else (he was sleeping for nearly half of the ride). In California, on the Waves to Wine Ride, I rode a lot by myself. The time that I enjoyed most though was riding with Carl.

I've generally got two speeds: (1) all out and push at about 20+ mph and (2) cruising with Isaac but hostage to his needs to stop - at about 15 or 16 mph but needing rest intervals on an erratic basis. I feel like I'm exploring a third speed - somewhere around 18 mph and enjoying the scenery.
Officially seeking riding mates at all 3 speeds.
