- Thursday = treadmill run - warmup, followed by 1 mile @ 8:30 pace, quick bio break followed by 4 miles @ 8:30 pace, break followed by 1 mile @ 8:30 pace and cool down
- Friday = easy swim that helped stretch the muscles
- Saturday = treadmill run of 11 miles (11 x 1 mile at ~9 minute mile pace and 30 second walk break); total time ~99 minutes; 1 hour ride along the Pacific Coast Highway with the boys in the carriage, John Headrick on my tail (on his mountain bike) and Rory Pall bringing up the rear -- lots of wind on the return trip; unfortunately Jessica had some mechanical issues so she had to head back after about 5-10 minutes.
- Sunday = 1 miles swim
